You are reading this for a reason.
Maybe it’s time.
Finding the right therapist is daunting. Many folks give up before ever taking the leap.
I don’t want that to be you!
You deserve a safe space to explore your story with someone who listens intently and engages with compassion. Your journey towards self-attunement and the positive life shifts you desire is waiting for you. Let me help.
I invite you to take a moment to ask yourself: “Am I ready to invest in myself?” I’ll be here when that answer is yes.
Overview
I created Soft Moon Mental Health and Wellness to provide an inviting and cozy space for you to do the tough internal work. We laugh, we cry, and just like the phases of moon; there are many layers of your story to uncover.
I practice with values rooted in intersectional feminism, anti-racism and multi-cultural awareness. These value sets will always be at the forefront of my mission within this practice.
Effective, life-changing therapy requires a deep commitment to the vulnerable process. I highly suggest at least six months of weekly engagement. Many folks stay with me for years because having a deeply interpersonal yet objective space to work through all of life’s ups & downs can be paramount in maintaining attunement.
Every step of the way I will be there to help guide you towards relief, clarity, and empowerment from the struggles you face.
What is on the other side of therapy? A deeper understanding of who you are, what you want, and how to navigate life’s challenges with greater attunement to your true self.
WHAT MAKES SOFT MOON DIFFERENT?
My approach to mental health therapy is foundationally relational. This means that I bring my full humanness to our sessions. Ultimately we are both co-create a REAL relationship. Although we aren’t friends, we become close, and that’s a special thing about therapy. My practice isn’t what our founding psychotherapist forefathers told us it would be. I am not a blank slate because I see that vulnerability thrives in authentic expression.
I often hear in my consult calls that folks are looking for a real connection and not someone who just nods at them. Truth be told, I have had to carve my own way into this field and I’m so elated that the right clients for my style find me! Professional boundaries are still required to the therapeutic alliance but there is plenty of room to challenge the archaic system!
Beyond my relational approach, Soft Moon is different because I eclectically blend several theories and interventions from my education (i.e. intergenerational, trans feminist, existential) with metaphysical arts like tarot and astrology to guide our sessions to more deeply illuminating places.
WORKING WITH ME IS SIMPLE
01
Schedule a FREE 15 minute phone consultation. I will share about my therapeutic process, available services and can answer any questions you have. We can then decide if we are a good fit!
02
The next step will be that I make a referral on your behalf to my partnership with Mindful Therapy Group. They will reach out to you to book your first appointment with me and on-board your insurance. You will then have access to Mindful’s online patient portal where you will fill out intake paperwork.
03
From there we will meet weekly, for 53-55 minute sessions. Therapy is most effective with consistent engagement and for that reason I highly suggest weekly sessions, depending on schedule availability. Many clients eventually move to bi-weekly sessions after things have positively shifted. There are no rules here. Stay as long as you want and we will check in along the way,
Meet your therapist.
I believe that every person on this planet would benefit from engaging in mental health services. We are born into a society designed to keep us sick, tired and in dire need of deep healing support.
I created Soft Moon Mental Health & Wellness to play my small part in standing up for authenticity, connection and radical self-love. And it is my honor to walk alongside you on this journey.

“That place of true healing is a fierce place. It’s a giant place. It’s a place of monstrous beauty and endless dark and glimmering light. And you have to work really, really, really hard to get there, but you can do it.”
